Auction Donations
Students have been working hard on collecting donations for their upcoming Auction!

Proficiency Awards and State FFA Degrees
On January 25th we had students competing at the proficiency awards with their record books as well as two students interview to get their Illinois State Degrees, which is the highest degree that is awarded by the IL State FFA Association. Makayla Learned won her proficiency area of Veterinary Science and will move onto compete at the District 4 Proficiencies. Good luck Makayla!
Gabi Hudson and Cheyenne Cade interviewed and have been approved by Section 18 to receive their IL State FFA Degree as long as the State Association approves their application. Good luck to Gabi and Cheyenne!
Armstrong FFA Alumni Meeting
Our Next FFA Alumni Meeting is on May 8th at 7pm in the High School Ag Shop! Hope to see you all there!
Remember: You don’t have to be an alumni of FFA or Armstrong High School, just have to be out of high school!
Armstrong FFA Alumni Dinner & Auction
The first Armstrong FFA Alumni Auction & Dinner this past Saturday was a HUGE success! On behalf of the Armstrong FFA and Alumni I would like to say how thankful we are for the support from the community and the local businesses that donated items or made a monetary donation. We had 175+ guests that attended and expressed their support of our program. Together we exceeded our goal! A special thank you to The Gordon Hannagan Auction Company, especially Jim for being our awesome auctioneer, as well as Gale Cunningham with WIXY Classic, Rantoul Press and Maggie Hockenberry with Channel 3 News for the great advertisement of our event. The funds raised will go towards making field trips, conventions, conferences and camps for the students more affordable as well as updating our greenhouse.
We hope to see you all next year!
